Forever Days
two lovers take the leap
they know not what I know
fallen skies in liquifiable heap
black horsemen come then go
the boughs tremble from the trees
willows weep for joy
I taste the sweet rosemary leaves
mistakes seem shy and coy
all you hear seems to repeat itself
people trusting you too much
take all the secrets, put them on the shelf
this cloth feels soft to the touch
too bad it's only words to me
like cream that just won't froth
through cobalt glass thou wilst see
the rains come in spite of sloth
then they leap, jump so far
crash like porcelein on clay
for from the ashes they found tar
keeping wills at bay
the sun will rise
as it has risen before
then we know
